They are quick reads. I’m half way through book 3 already. They aren’t books that are gonna change the world, but I really enjoy how they put a lot of of the imagination that one would have in playing a TTRPG onto paper and into a story

I’ve seen that recommended in my kindle app a few times, but was hesitant to snag it because I don’t usually trust Amazon recommendations. I guess now I’m going to have to give it a spin!

Be warned though, it’s book 1 of maybe 6? I’m not sure exactly. I’ve seen a bunch on Amazon and I’m on book 2, almost done already, but clearly it spans a few books at least.

The author is from Gig Harbor and the book starts in Seattle. It takes a bit to get going but when it clicks I couldn’t put it down. It’s got huge D&D vibes mixed with reality TV so some things are a bit forced or hand waved but it works. Like a GM pushing a story forward.
