Here's what I don't get. Is Mikko just looking for the highest AAV he can get, or does he want to maximize the $$ he gets? Because going to July 1 would ultimately end up in him making LESS total, right? 13x8= 104, so on a 7 year deal it would have to be close to $15 mil AAV is any team doing that??
