The protests if this nonsense were to happen would be biblical. It would also be terrible for the game so encouraging to see more than a few rival supporters in agreement with the overwhelming majority of #LFC supporters. ✌️

Some of the reporting on this has been unhelpful. It was his dad who suggested he could buy Liverpool, and Elon doesn't like his dad. I think the biggest 'picket' in history would be recorded in L4. FSG do not want to sell is another factor

I agree wholeheartedly Chris. The debate in my mind is what would I feel if something like this did come to pass - something I was so fervently against. Would I support the team in the same way. I genuinely don’t know (and having supported Liverpool for 50 years that’s a big call)!

I'm from Liverpool, supported them for 50+ years but can vow now, will never watch them again if that "narcissistic man child" has anything to do with them. I was embarrassed to hear he had anything to do with the city at all.

I don't know why he doesn't just buy the Premier League and pit them against the Saudi Pro League ...on the moon.

I suspect the main problem is that nobody knows who actually owns the PGMOL, so getting refs for the games would be difficult.
