I can’t really believe it was just ideological or just Biden being a pushover. I think there had to be some half cocked strategy about overthrowing Iranian leadership and establishing a foothold for a new Cold War with China.

While I understand the jubilation of the Palestinian people, Israel is a genocidal state that has yet to complete its mission of complete annexation of Gaza and West Bank (and maybe Lebanon while they're at it). Gaza has always been simply target practice for IDF (US) armament. It still is.
