I used to do 5 seconds agitation every 30 seconds. I also used HC 110 dilution b, no problem, but that was before digital took over.

Also try pre-wetting the film with constant agitation for 30 seconds before the developer.

At the beginning of development, bump the tank to dislodge any bubbles from the film's surface. Then constant agitation for the first 30 seconds.

Yes, that is good. Also 5sec every 30. I always use a pre-wet, though some don't.
