A little bird
has built her nest
from old mistakes
inside my heart.
Her #feathers are shiny
and spotted with
the color of
your eyes. She
feeds on my doubts,
on worries and blueberries.
Now I fear the
coming of winter,
for I don’t know
if she is a bird
of passage.
