A funny fact, the US dept that was monitoring Ukraine's abibing by the Budapest Memorandum's obligation not to develop nuclear arms was closed this week. Not three years ago when russia made the Memorandum nul and void by invading Ukraine!

So the USA were holding Ukraine to its obligations from the Budapest Memorandum, when the gaurantors no longer abided by their part, aiding Ukraine in the defense of its sovereignty!

In 2004, Russia already tried to put their puppet, Viktor Yanukovych in charge, and poisoned another candidate who was oriented toward Europe, Viktor Yushchenko.
