I should probably give the more formal image credit as well. PHAT image/date is NASA, ESA, and B. Williams and J. Dalcanton (University of Washington, Seattle). The background is my own SLAM (Slightly Larger Andromeda Mosaic), with the lowest part duplicated/fudged to make a nicer background.
