This kind of links into what I would add, something I heard after the Paris terrorist attacks.
“Look for the people doing good”.
They are out there, but we get distracted by drama & noise.
Put attention into those “small islands”, in order that they grow.

This is a good read, although it does seem to have become very expensive (direct from the publisher, at least.)

Nobody likes the phrase 'paradigm shift' but I believe that 'complexity thinking' is one, and clearly applies to politics.
