The EU plans to train 12,000 Ukrainian soldiers by the end of winter, says EU diplomat Kaja Kallas. This will bring the total number of trained Ukrainian troops to 75,000. As of early November 2024, around 63,000 Ukrainian soldiers—equivalent to 10 brigades—have been trained.
