What? This is news to me.
My source at ruzzian ministry of war states categorically all UAVs and drones are intercepted and only debris causes these massive fires and explosions... 😜
Necessity, survival & warrior instincts breed creativity & an acute ability to improvise, adapt & successfully execute the mission.
This 'Frankenstein" dumb bomb is a prime example.
Ukraine was using something like a small plane before for long distance targets - like a piper cub or something that size or a bit smaller. That’s all I can think of that would carry something this size 🤷♂️
Not just plane sized, presumably also plane shaped, with fixed wings instead of drone propellers. Something like a Cessna could easily carry a 250kg payload.

Hold fuck this is scary shit right there...
This is great, now ukraine can send drones to drop FABs without risking lives of ukrainian pilots.
Not small, but still surprisingly small. But those are Russian, so who knows if they actually work and are not just a scheme to steal tax money.

I think the generic term of drone was used where UAV is more apt (in size terms).
