Ukrainian pilot Ivan Bolotov died in combat, reported the 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade. For nearly three years of full-scale war, he defended Ukraine and flew numerous combat mission. He was only 24.

This is so sad to hear. It is comforting to know that there are still honorable men who will choose the right. My tears and prayers are with his family and friends.

As any pilot - civil or mil - will feel, he is/was “one of us”.
I hope his tally against the scum invaders was high, & his death was at least quick + painless.
I hope one day, my kids & I can read/watch stories of UA aviator heroism.
