Regardless what else happens, lifting of sanctions will have to wait some decades at least, until all signs of Russian aggression and territorial ambitions are gone (not likely to ever happen given their history and deep rooted attitudes).

I think it's important to say that this article is pure speculation, and this specific claim has no basis in any ongoing negotiations, leaks, or demands.

It also misses the biggest picture: for Ukraine, security guarantees are more important than land. Devastated ruins don't matter as much.
