On the other hand, spending $200B from tax payer money in Europe (so EU plus UK, Norway, etc) per year costs less than $50 per capita.

And that way we can keep this threat alive, to decide what to do later. Use for reparations for example.

Give 100 billion to Ukraine now, and keep 100 billion frozen--it's still a lot of "leverage."
The war will then end sooner and not so much will be needed for reconstruction, not to mention the loss and ruin of lives. The further away European countries still not feeling the real danger.

Transfer all of it! Then Ukraine can’t be held to ransom by Trump and they won’t have to sign away their mineral rights. Those opposed are only worried that at some time in the future the same could be done to their own state assets. They’re worrying about money, not lives and freedom. Pick a side.
