Close the pipes up after the Russians enter and wait 24 hours?
Or is there a flushing mechanism that still works.
Or would it involve throwing hand-grenades in for a few hours?
Another reason is to not be caught in a situation of pressure, where the de-nazifiers want to reestablish the flow of gas to some ignorant European states, like Slovakia.
