Of course, it's Russia that is aggressively bombing Ukraine daily. Putting a cease fire on the table will highlight Putin's lack of interest stopping his campaign to destroy Ukraine.

Yes and no. While a ceasefire does give the russia a change to prepare for the next attack, Ukraine also gets time to prepare. At least the troops in the trenches get a much needed respite.
