So 🇺🇲 negotiates a deal, they have no stake in ensuring with means they are not providing at the expense of everybody else..... What is the point of having them involved - everybody can surrender piece by piece.

But what I do not see is what they get back. I don't hear anything about children nor securities for the country.
Something like the budapest memo is unthinkable as russia and usa has violated it.
This is transparently taking the piss.
For Russia, both the Black Sea ceasefire and the energy infrastructure ceasefire are conditional and not yet in force.
