And all of this is really totally immaterial.
The ONLY stat that matters is: are the Christians that ARE in the UK holding fast to the Bible and Jesus' teaching? Or are they abandoning it for cultural relevance?
Numbers are God's problem. Faithful adherence to his Word is ours!

Not sure I agree totally Dave - our responsibility is to teach and encourage faithful adherence - it’s for God to judge whether they are. The New Testament is full of examples of the importance of “counting” those who declare faith in Jesus.

It is not our place to worry about numbers. If we are faithfully following, preaching and discipling, whether churches grow or decline is totally up to God.
