I was about to suggest that having children helps, but guess not!
To be fair, helpfully in France schools and daycare tend to close for 1-2 weeks around public holidays

Is it afton-afton in Swedish? (aatto-aatto in Finnish). I think I've seen that applied mostly to Christmas 🤔 but maybe some use it for other holidays as well as an excuse to take more days off 😄
