Sounds like a couple of my exes. A textbook narcissist. Hegseth is effectively weaponizing and politicizing the US Military for Trump's ideology and is destroying the national and global faith that is left for soldiers and officers. I'm also worried that they will be used against peaceful protesters

A prime example is the gassing he did of peaceful protestors in DC so he could stand in front of a church (the same church the Bishop Budde called him out at) and hold a Bible, not to mention his urging the military to "shoot them in the legs." It's a horrifying thought.

Thank you 🩷 I spent 17 years with this person and was told a lot by other people that relationships take work, try harder, he's just so stressed, etc. I hope that by sharing maybe one person will know there's nothing to try harder for when you're being treated so badly.

His claims of "anonymous smears" is classing gaslighting. These accusations came from his ex-wife, mother, and former coworkers and were definitely not anonymous.

And such an ✨interesting✨ way to demonstrate how he sees them as having very little value as well. By calling them anonymous, yes he attempts to discredit them, but importantly, he devalues them & denies them the "privilege" of his acknowledgement. It dehumanizes ppl close to him & punishes them.

I think if this is referring to what I think it is, I was saying my ex did not have white supremacist tattoos, he has a large tribal across his upper back. Hegseth could be a walking talking flipbook of tattoo examples from a tattoo parlor called Supremacy Tattoos 🫠

(6/x) have fit right in. He was friendly with anyone to their face though- which just adds to the wolf in sheep's clothing analogy that much more. Drinking at 10 am/before work? Check. (7/x) could teach our military some excellent wall-punching technique, too. For my ex, he was former USMC. At this point I must take a moment to say CLEARLY that not everyone currently in or prior military is an abuser or a "Pete Hegseth Type". But we *want* our military not to be full of Petes.
