Was just there a couple weeks ago with a tour group but were a little further west up Omaha Beach and missed this. Will need to plan a return trip!
My grandfather John was there 80 years ago. He was 19.
Passed in 2005. Finally started telling stories later in life. 🙏🏼

I am 69. My father-in-law was there. He was a medic on D-Day. He never was able to talk about it. God bless them all.
