Most of their diet is rodents. But they are basically omnivores just like your dog. (Nina will eat almost anything as long as it has “stuff” on it such as peanut butter. )
Having a creature around that keeps the rodents down is a wonderful thing. No rodents in my house.

I had personal experience with a Good Samaritan today. I'm a senior and I tripped on the sidewalk while walking my dog. And a young man in a car drove past saw me backed up and got out to help me get back up again and gave me a bunch of Kleenex for my bloody nose. Thanks to that kind young man.
