I think with Contreras it’s more that they have decent players they want to see more of in Herrera and Pages, plus they want to keep Willy C healthy for as much of the year as they can.

I just think in a league where no catchers hit you have to ride that advantage as much as you can. Giving up a lot of runs moving him to DH.

Hard to say but as of this moment the cards don’t have someone at first or DH really worth much. Goldy isn’t coming back and his bat has aged quickly the last two seasons (still ok with the glove). Burleson is streaky and I doubt they want to pigeonhole walker or Gorman to DH yet
