When I first started HRT, the doctor I was seeing strung me along for 6 months with a low dose of spiro and no estradiol, because he was "worried about my liver enzyme levels". I barely drink, was on no other medications, and no doctor before or after has ever said anything about my liver

I am not going to degrade or demean any of my sister's hrt regimens but 100% we HAVE to discuss the fact that most doctors in the United States WILL try to start your HRT with pathetically low estrogen with pills and tons of Spiro.
