That's obviously incorrect. Plants need a certain amount, of course, but beyond that it's pollution. There's zero danger of CO2 levels falling below what plants need, while there's imminent danger that excess CO2 will warm the entire planet.
But that is not pollution. Humanity-made global warming is real and CO2 from fossil fuels is a main factor. But it is not pollution, I've just posted WHO's opinion. USA Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 amended the Clean Air Act to define CO₂ produced by burning fossil fuels as an "air pollutant."
" Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, which amended the Clean Air Act to define CO₂ produced by burning fossil fuels as an "air pollutant."
However, the WHO does not include CO₂ in its Air Quality Guidelines or set recommended targets for it, as CO₂ is not classified as toxic or harmful in general. "
I don't want to get into an asinine argument over the meaning of "pollutant". Excess CO₂ is obviously harmful in general (even if not toxic or harmful at the individual level).
Pollutant is a technical term, not a layperson's argument. Same as fascist. When people call everybody a fascist (or a communist) they destroy their meaning. When a real fascist appears, do they call a uberfascist? a megafascist? Clintons were called fascists, as well as Obama, Biden, and on and on
Global emissions of local air pollutants have probably passed their peak.
The chart shows estimates of global emissions of pollutants such as sulphur dioxide (which causes acid rain), nitrogen oxides, and black and organic carbon.
These pollutants are harmful to human health and can also damage ecosystems.
It looks like emissions have peaked for almost all of these pollutants. Global air pollution is now falling, and we can save many lives by accelerating this decline.

This is what we call, the real deal, piece of shit nazis.

These estimates come from the Community Emissions Data System (CEDS).
