I'm sorry, but every single cold weather conversation in Britain is not complete without at least one mention of a brass monkey.

Apparently it’s a heatwave on the weekend! (according to flat capped fellow dog walker).

American equivalent is "ah yeap, we needed the rain though."

Baltic, it certainly is but I hear the rain will be back at the weekend, typical!
