But that's the point. It doesn't work without significant human intervention but people will tell you iit does, people will lose their jobs and the people using it won't care about the crappy service or false information it spits out.

It’s just bad software design. The engineer should’ve handled the (basic) edge case - at the very least, adding ‘don’t say X, Y, Z’ to the prompt.

It’s like making a calculator app that crashes on divide-by-zero instead of showing an error and people deciding to go back to the abacus.

It’s not about constant intervention but designing the system properly from the start. AI isn’t magic - it follows the structure it’s given. Expecting it to work flawlessly without clear instructions is like blaming a hammer when it struggles to drive in a screw.

It’s not how people see it though.

I don't even use it outside of Photoshop for filling in details I used to do manually. It's useless beyond generative fill, even then.
