The U.S. has grown and changed, but the House of Representatives hasn’t. Expanding the House will ensure fair representation, better legislative capabilities, and fulfill its intended purpose. https://wherewilltheyallsit.org

It would take a constitutional amendment to #abolishtheelectoralcollege, whereas we can #UncapTheHouse with just one simple bill.
It would make much more sense to strive to fix the first branch of government, then use that momentum to see if there’s indeed enough appetite to address the second.

Abolishing the electoral college address presidential elections and the bureaucracy, but doesn’t do anything to address the structural deficiencies of Congress.
Our minuscule House of Representatives is what leads to regulatory college more than the EC.
Some good/necessary modernization improvements are recommended in the link, but expansion itself is not fit for the purpose of rectifying the ills of our system.
Multimember districts, open RCV primaries, compulsory registration or voting, or other reforms would each have far greater effects imo.
I'd be interested in support for that premise! (unironically). While I would support the effort, and a choice need not be made, I do not in any way think it is in the running for 'most important'.
Would be happy to understand why you might think that's the case.

The size of the a country’s legislature is *the* most important consideration in any democratic republic.
All the other reforms you identified would be great, but would also complement House expansion rather nicely.
No need for false choices.
