I can’t recommend North of North more - including to our international friends. It’s funny, quirky, heartwarming but also real - and it shows the complexity of Inuit including their relationship to their land & animals. Also helps show why Arctic is not up for grabs. Watched the 1st show on 77" OLED screen. It was like being there. The grandeur of the north is breathtaking. Especially sitting on a couch in a living room with no wind.
Binged the rest of the season. Best release of late.

Watched S1E1 last night based on the G&M article referenced here. Female lead seeks a new job in town & is given mere hours to get 500 names on a petition to prove her worth. Hubs demands she walk away to help him in a seal hunt competition. With no pushback, she gives up her goal. WTF.
