I waited my whole life to be able to get alcohol from places and I had like a month where I was really trying but I just straight up don't like it lmao.
I don't really like being drunk and I hate the taste of alcohol so it's like there's not a massive positive.

For me if there's even a drop in a drink I'm having it's immediately a detriment to my experience of that drink π
i have no desire to get drunk so there is truly no point to alcohol for me
the only way i can tolerate it is if it's super fruity and sugary but even then it would be better without cause it just tastes like they poured perfume in it
I don't drink anymore.
It's quite dull to drink frankly.
Only movie nights are worth it
I only like it in food (wether it's cooked down in a sauce, or where the alcohol taste actually enhances like in a Tiramisu or Crepe Suzette)
Plenty of fun parties where I just had water.
Overall though, alcohol is pretty overrated. Drink what you like and enjoy the vibes imo
I can't stand beer, ale, brady and lager cause they all have this weird taste
But cider, gin and rum are fine cause they're sweet and/or fruity
I dont get that notion
ever since turning 21 and drinking myself I've gotten into cocktail mixing and its great! Hate that alcohol makes me tired tho
Like being even slightly buzzed annoys me cause I can't concetrate on anything which ruins the fun of alot of my hobbies.
That said, it's not everything. A little loose is nice, being drunk is overrated.
That being said you can do amazing things with cocktails if you know your stuff.
Food pairing is a big thing for me. Really only drink if it goes with the food. It's an odd experience the first time you have a good pairing and it makes sense.
