I think a lot of people need to step out of their bubble.
1) A lot of people outright take him at his word that he wasn't at all trying do do a Nazi salute, that he was trying to "throw his heart out" to the audience.
2) For right or wrong, a large percentage of people -quite possibly the....
owns a fifth of the company... well, like, goid luck buying nearly anything man." That said, there's a good counter that Elon isn't just "a problematic person", but a *uniquely dangerous* person. But you should understand the viewpoint.
5) Then there's the "I don't agree, but it's FREE SPEECH...

3) A lot of people -possibly the majority - just aren't well informed, and don't even know of Elon's antics
4) A lot of people -rightly -will tell you, " look, if you goal is to avoid buying products from companies where problematic assholes...
5) Then there's the "I don't agree, but it's FREE SPEECH...
6) Then there's the small group of "I'm not a Nazi, but I am on the far right, and those Nazis at least have some fair points" people.
7) And then... the tiny final group... actual Nazis.
