I'm given to understand it's not the ozone itself that most people smell, especially describing it that way. Brings out other smells though.

My senses are as dull as shit but I can tell when it is gonna rain that very way, among others. Not a lot of ozone in urban areas, but I see the polarization in the atmosphere change, like I’m an ant.

I know there's a slight earthy smell when it starts to rain. Kind of like dust and dirt being kicked up.
