My grandmother was born in 1914. She received social security when she retired. She was 21 when ss was enacted. My grandmother would be 111 this year. Not totally off the wall for a claim. If someone was born in 1874 they would be 61 in 1935. Say they paid in until they were 75.
So they paid in 14 years towards ss. They would be eligible for ss until they die. Now they would be 151 years old this year. If ss was never informed of their death with a death certificate and nobody ever looked into it. Thatโs where the problem is.
So, if they havenโt been declared deceased, although ss may not have distributed or deposited payments, they are saying the would be deceased would be still receiving payments. Misleading on their part because it would fit their narrative.

The whole thing is so stupid. Benefits are not being paid to 150 year olds. It's DOGE stupidity.
