I must say I've felt immense sympathy for all those caught up in this, whether a multimillionaires or ordinary Californians; it's devastating. That said, I'm finding it v.difficult to be sympathetic to Mel Gibson, whose house burnt down whilst he was telling Rogan climate change was a hoax!

I would argue that’s not true. The really rich will ultimately be the last people to have their lives destroyed as they will be able to move to the nicest parts of the planet. I think this is why they are comfortable burnishing the lie that climate change is not real/can’t be stopped.

There is some.e truth in that. The fires discriminate not at all. All are included.
If we could de-politicize things that are common to all, perhaps we could find solutions rather than blame.
