So, Bitwig: tools that allow people to access diatonic quantization & build chords that “work” as a time-saver (both in terms of note entry & “having to learn this stuff”) can “open new possibilities” in some senses but it also lends itself to stab-in-the-dark workflows & further underdevelopment

Well yes, getting good at stuff takes time & digestion & reflection & understanding.
