Very much enjoyed A Complete Unknown because I love Dylan and Chalamet was incredible playing/singing as Dylan- whole thing very diverting. But ultimately, it was basically gloriously, beautiful karaoke. If I didn’t like/know Dylan I think I’d have been utterly bewildered/bored.

I was staggered by the film's accuracy re: certain small details, like Dylan's apartment. It seriously diminished how important Suze Rototl was (character Sylvie Russo), but Norton nailed Pete Seeger in every way, and the film mostly got the politics right
The film is an actualization of the Highway 61 metaphor,
FWIW I’m not a massive Dylan fan but I really liked it. To each their own and all that.
anymore to people who didn't have at least an interest in Dylan. Regardless the film is absolutely fantastic..ignore Lewis and go and see it: even if you don't know who Dylan is yet.
And they just can't remember how to act
Their minds are filled with big ideas
Images and distorted facts
Even you, yesterday
You had to ask me where it was at
I couldn't believe after all these years
You didn't know me better than that
