The first election I voted in was 1988, and I have always identified as an independent. Throughout my life, I have voted for both Democrats and Republicans. Since 2016 it’s been only Democrats, because MAGA Republicans have corrupted their party. When Republicans find honor again, I’ll reevaluate.
