A friend gave me this book to read after I’d gone through a traumatic experience. I dove headfirst into it and it helped get through that rough patch. It still holds a place of honor on my bookshelf and I have reread it a couple of times. It also kickstarted my Arthurian legends era of reading. Epic

Excellent book. Really liked the Darkover novels as well, especially Children of Hastur. Always wanted to write a screenplay for Children of Hastur, though it probably works better as an animated or live-action series.
