To be honest, being a small and occasional artist, I make better results in term of statistics on BS than I used on X... I don't miss that platform, I just regret some companies haven't jumped in here yet.

the funniest thing is... so do I 😂 numbers-wise, at least... the thing is, numbers don't really translate into commissions, at least in my case 🥹 most of my work/customers is still on twitter, though i do see people slowly move away from it, which is SUPER nice!

At this point the customers are only still there because the artists still are. You might take a hit for a while by leaving, but if you don't they will never leave either.
You're the one who has to put your foot down, and frankly you deserve a better audience than people who are happy to stay there.

People come to socials for news delivered by shitpost, funny meme haha, and to follow creators (whatever that art entails per definition, be it drawings, animation, music, writing...). We are LITERALLY the reason social media keeps people occupied. WE are what makes it lmaooo
