HAHAHAHAHAHA and its also always begginer artists or people that don't draw. Girl, we have been drawing for years. I COULD draw a bottle if i wanted to, but how about i just dont want to waste my time figuring out the perspective😭✋️
Also not to bash begginer artists, but i do find that they tend to be more uptight with nonses "art ethics". Girl, even on the academy they teach you how to trace for learning, use references, use 3d modeling ... etc etc
oh, yes, absolutely! Being honest, I myself was of the exact same mindset back when I was just starting to draw... it was miserable. Thank Gods most of us outgrow it!
Yessss. For me drawing should be something enjoyable. Finding smart and fun ways to convey what is in your head. Just don't trace other people's art, don't claim something as yours if it's not. Everything else is fair game just have fun.
I am still unlearning the 'don't use references for ANYTHING draw it all from your brain' mindset and my art is so much better as a result! And I love the 3d models, I just wish they were less finicky lol
speaking of which!!! If you are having trouble with using the 3d models (they came out too stiff in case you trace them), I highly suggest blurring them! It leaves you with a nice general shape as a guide, but no actual tracing! https://bsky.app/profile/almakrowan.bsky.social/post/3ksm55nwo7m2n
