New in PN: Merchan subtweets John Roberts ahead of Trump's sentencing
"Merchan’s order is a remarkable condemnation of the chief justice’s screed, which treats legitimate criticism of SCOTUS's rulings as violence, while disregarding the actual violence encouraged by Trump and his cronies."

Trump's conviction was correct and should stand. Judge Merchan deserves all respect.
Else there’s simply NO law and order and justice left.
FFS 🤡🖕 Wake up America.
Me thinks thou doth protest too much Donny.
The more you protest the guiltier you look.
This is on you.
Biden promised to be a transitional presidolt, but he fed the cancer when he should have been treating it.
Now it's up to the most corrupt SC in my memory to see if they'll show their asses once again
He should have jailed the defendant then, but also every other judge should have revoked his release bond.
Or as Aragorn said to Theoden:
War is upon you whether you wish it or not.
The war's been going on for a long time, and the dems haven't even made a pretense at fighting back or ending it.
Don't start violence. End it when it finds you, it will consume you.
Or put another way: the greatest evil is when good men do nothing.
The dems did nothing.
They whined about crime, but did nothing at all about it.
They always complain about that, but never learn.
No, they did not!!!
Maybe he could imprison Trump for a few symbolic days but then even that might not even be feasible in light of the logistical/security arrangements that would be required.
