The sad thing about these "when you've lost..." takes is that these people will turn just as quickly back into the same liars and enablers they've always been. Check back in a week, and Kudlow will be praising Trump for the greatest economy in the history of mankind.
January felt like a year by itself. February has felt a little more normal, but we’re in for a whole grind it out couple of years. Too damn old for this. 😂
This will take all of us. Trump’s base is starting to erode and will eventually crack and fracture. Be ready to welcome them to the movement, it’s okay to be wrong, and they deserve credit for admitting it.
The bubble will pop regardless. While it is inflated, investments are highly inefficient (Crypto, AI, ...) and do not help the economy. The only people who benefit are those who have significant wealth.
It was easier to see with dot-com how worthless the investments get, but it is the same now.
Also, the longer the bubble is allowed to grow without bounds, the greater the damage to the economy when it does burst. It could be a decade or more for the economy to recover when this one bursts. I've moved nearly all of my assets (outside of my home) into cash investments (or govt bonds).
really couldn't give a sh*t about the stock market. a decreasing or flat stock market tends to help lower income folks more. Stock market is largely a playground of the wealthy. We focus on it too much IMO.
For the life of me, I can't understand why Kudlow is considered an expert... but he did only hit my radar in 2016... perhaps it was the hyper-partisanship that was always his appeal?
Pudlow is a flavorless dullard peddling the same dumb-fealty he has to whatever GOP dung-beetle in charge acknowledges him for years. He's utterly inept, and totally non-scrotal. Calling him a "sad imp" is a kindness.
Trump/Musk aren't going to stop. The consequences of what they've done are going to last for a long time - just like the last failed Trump administration.
It's going to take a Democratic administration to bail us out.
I’m anything but an economist, but even I knew that his proposals would be inflationary (real not just feel). How does he get paid for being so obtuse?
"One off"? I drive past the lowest gas price in our area every morning and it's gone up 50 cents since the beginning of January.
Grocery prices have gone up, on average, 20% Since the beginning of January.

No. No thank you.
I hope MAGAs understand what they voted for.
If you thought inflation was bad, wait till you meet stagflation,

Again.
It’s glorious.
A degree out of a crackerjacks bix would confer more expertise than he has.
