But, the U.S. Marshal's office is controlled by the DOJ. So, Judge Xinis could charge the attys w/ contempt of court & then order them to be hauled away to jail. AG Pam Bondi (or T***P) then intervenes & order the Marshals to stand down & ignore the judge's order. Now what? 🤷‍♀️

I honestly think the odds are poor that Garcia is still alive.

They can’t have come back and talk about his experience. Trump and Bukele have likely made a wink and nod deal to have a deadly “accident” happen.

The wording the SCOTUS uses in this order concerns me a bit though. It is at least a positive from this court but with all the power this court has extended this administration, it is with great peril if we ignore their many rulings before this one I fear.

Judge should tell DOJ lawyer he doesn't leave courtroom until questiosn answered - give him jury room and computer and phone - keep deputies there 24 hours and judge should check in peeriodically - guy spends weekend in Court getting answers - not "Tuesday". Pres of El Salvador flying in Monday

Shameful. If my client required me to tell a Judge "I don't have that information" "I can't answer that question" - whether because they wouldn't give me the info or they told me not to disclose it despite the Judge's Order - they wouldn't be my client anymore.

Each day is more taxpayer $ going to a wrongful imprisonment and kidnapping the Trump admin is willfully perpetrating.

That is not official action- they should be on hook for remedy- not the American people.

This is simply terrifying. How can counsel appearing in court on a matter of this nature that's gone to SCOTUS not answer a question like "where is he?" Up here in 🇨🇦 that gets you a "get your client on the phone and come back in 30 minutes with the answer."
