i decided months ago i wouldn't touch this one even if it got on sale for $20 later and having stopped playing other live service stuff as much lately had made me feel dramatically more fulfilled when I play games

As someone who hasn't had a break from video games, you really came up to me in the stupor of AAA games and going "man, these thumbscrews, iron maiden, of modern gaming is a bit much isn't it?"
And I just kinda look at it and go "huh, I think you're right."
Oh nice! I’ll watch it later, I paid 3 dollars for the game and it was entertaining to see how shit it was. Listened to a couple of good podcasts between cutscenes.
We got the game with a buddy 2 weeks ago cause it was 5$. We played it for one session, actually didn't hate it that much and then we never were able to log in the servers again
