I turned it off after just awhile. I had such a rich visual tapestry in my mind, I could tell the movie would not do justice to my own panoramic experience from the read.
I read a lot of this book but I stopped reading partly through the last chunk of the book because of a certain chapter making me feel sick... Whenever I read the book now I just feel ill. This is for completely personal reasons, I wholly suggest the book just a little TW for SA.

I watched about 20 min of the TV version. Turned it off & never returned.
The book was glorious
I’m not sure what ‘chunk’ you mean, but there certainly loss & brutality.
