This feels like something you should be able to sue for because to claim fraud is utterly absurd if it was not your fault for a TREE landing on your home. A competent lawyer could give you a free consultation so I hope you consider it if you haven’t already

They claim they dont have enough evidence and are sending a letter for more details... someone suggested we contact the state and file a complaint
But the investigation they did was insane... phone records..time stamps we did it all... and they still said no... garabge corporations

This has been happening nationwide but especially in states like Florida where insurance companies refuse to pay claims after hurricanes and whatnot because they don’t care about their customers. I would seriously consider a lawyer because you cannot trust a company to due an “investigation”

Like I said before, some may give you a free consultation and if they find your case viable enough they might be able to work on your case and only make you pay if you win (where you would receive money as part of winning your case so in reality you wouldn’t pay at all)

You don’t ever have to pay an insurance lawyer up front - they take their portion from your winnings. You should also be contacting the insurance commissioner in your state.

Contact the Attorney General. They have resources for forcing insurance companies to pay up. And have a long history of enjoying the process.

You need to hire a public adjuster or attorney in your state to disprove Progressive’s fraud claim and counter-present a claim of bad faith. These people are only paid on contingency - meaning that they’ll only take payment from your winnings back from the insurer. Can explain further detail via DM
