The lifted tax won’t really help. Snacks and beer are hardly essential goods…. In Quebec, the lift will only be 5% where the GST is removed. Where HST is present, it means a significant shortfall in revenue for these provinces. It’s a half ass measure.

I helped vote Harper out for the exact same bs PP is doing right now.
I was a conservative for many years due to the Liberals cancelling the helicopter deal. I could not stand seeing Harper strip away services,military needs, and silencing his party.

PP's actions are nearly exactly what Harper did during his reign. Which makes sense if Harper is pulling the puppet strings. Forbidding his party to speak went hand in hand with muzzling critics in science, education, and refusal to media.
