Totally agree. My only issue is the amount of carbon tax that major industry pays, particularly the oil industry, who rather than pay their fair share of taxes in general, often funnel their profits out of our country…

Trudeau should’ve fully committed. The Atlantic home heating oil carve out was a mistake! I bought an electrified vehicle and installed heat pumps because of carbon pricing, and significantly reduced fossil fuel use. It works, and awful Poilievre will most certainly end it with no alternative.

PP needs to explain how in the world we would ever know if there was an impact on gas prices if he axed the tax. When gas prices inexplicably fluctuate 15 cents on a daily basis I guarantee we would never be able to tell. However, we would notice that we no longer receive the climate rebate!
