Mark Carney π¨π¦ is a true recognized economist who has been governor of two banks. This is what Pierre Poilievre will do to the Bank of Canada if elected. #cdnpoli

Polly obviously hasn't read up on how that worked for El Salvador!
Given the current international situation, having a proven economist at the helm makes a hell of a lot more sense.
Additionally his academic credentials are inadequate, imo.
11 Years Deb. 11 years to complete a 4 year degree. As a person that worked all the way through my post secondary, I completed my 4 year program in 4 years while also working a full time job.
Then again I'm not a conservative, or, from alberta.
I know eh? Just like that orange cretin, he had us wondering if he even want to win. He did, but we all know why. As usual Poilievre is sticking to his Trump impersonation, however the difference is, we are going to be ready for any funny business come election day.
The most important reason why Pierre Poliev cannot fight against the Trump administration is not his lack of ability, but that he simply does not want to fight against Trump. He will embrace Trump like a baby embraces his mother.
He has done nothing but whine for 20 years... and has a huge taxpayer funded pension having accomplished nothing. I certainly hope people are smarter than to vote for him... π¬
True...
And I surely hope Canadians have learned a good lesson from the last U.S. election when people didn't vote, thinking Kamala Harris would win.
Liberals can count on competent and experienced MPs, while Poilievre is surrounded by bobbleheads.
Canadians have skin in the game. More skin than Palestine supporters had in the last US election, where both parties avidly fund genocide. Up here, if you stay home, you're actually betraying your nation, in the 2025 election.
Bitcoin. Uh huh, we all know how that worked out when he first spewed about it. Funny how the orange dotard is going in that direction. What a slimy little shitweasel. He would crash our economy and sell us to the States.
He is a waste of a vote. He has been in politics for 20 years and worked or passed zero bills. Go move to the US!! Poilievre is terrible for all Canadians!!
Excuse me #PP
Nov 4 2011 PM Stephen Harper today welcomed the appointment of Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney as Chair of the Financial Stability Board (FSB). The appointment was announced during the G-20 Leaders Summit in Cannes, France.
The selection of Mr. Carney as Chair of the Financial Stability Board is testament to his skills and to the strength of Canadaβs financial system,β said the PM
For 4 years in a row, the World Economic Forum has rated Canadaβs banking system as the soundest in the world.
I hope @markcarneyforpm.bsky.social does an add that shows Trumps US Banks aren't in Canada/crypto grift and pairs it with this ignoramuses Bank of Canada/bitcoin/crypto gambit.
Sounds a lot like Krasnov doesnβt he! So happy to see his balloon deflating. There is still hope for Canadians that he will not come in to screw things up.
Carney also served as the UN Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance, helping rally the world to build stronger economies as we fight climate change. PP is an empty suit.
Hell yes. Heartbreaking to tell American friends to stop sending thoughts and prayers as they will solve this as well as they solve school shootings in the USA.
Governments have a fiduciary responsibility to manage national assets prudently, ensuring economic stability, protecting taxpayer interests, and maintaining liquidity for emergencies.
How the is βbet the economy on BitCoin βfiscally conservativeβ?
Well you could say it a little bit differently. Bet the economy on Bitcoin doesn't sound very fiscally conservative
Save in a supranational money with a fixed supply that is the seventh largest asset in the world, and has been the best performing asset of the last 5, 10, and 15 years sounds better
Jeff the paperboy aka trumps puppet peepee, IQ is about as high as his buddies. Dumps is 73 PPs maybe 70β¦ thatβs why it took 6 years to get his undergrad at UofC. And this imbecile wants to lead Canada π¨π¦
Poilievre is a goof. Can't stand the sight of him. Always looks bored with life. Never seems happy. That guy is not normal. Creepy. #nevervoteconservative
Youβre never happy if you build your life around hating things and people you donβt understand/bother to get to know. This is where you end up when you stop trying to learn and grow.
I've never seen him say a positive thing in 20+ years of public life... Just a pure ideologue pushing negativity and hatred to anyone who doesn't follow his ideology.
Not a fan of the photoshopped stuff... to me there is enough legit stuff to attack them on, you don't need to put them in shirt slogans they didn't actually wear... it just makes the message untrustworthy to do that
Iβve voted Conservative in the few couple of elections because I like my local MP. Canβt do that this time! Not taking the chance that Poilievre gets in.
Economists don't like Bitcoin. Nobel Laureate economist Paul Krugman put it best. He said these digital tokens serve no economic purpose, and their valuation is tenuous. But hey, some politician with the nickname Skippy thinks he knows so much more, just like Trump knows so much more about tariffs.
Unchecked capitalism is giving to the rise of the oligarchs, and yet the majority of Canadians want to elect either of the two parties that exacerbate those exact problems. π€¦ββοΈ

Don't vote for PP aka Trump 1.0.

It's acting like an american.

Might negate the point youβre trying to make a wee bit.
what a battle lol
He can't pay his way out of it or run away when he's cornered!!

I don't vote for any party that plans to swell the deficit.
Tie Pollievre to the chaos that's the US under Trump and keep hammering on it.
The dark web market was about 1.5 billion dollars in 2024
Meanwhile 800 billion to 1 trillion dollars was laundered through banks in 2024 π€
While acting like it's 100% of the problem
Rather than pointing at the bigger $800B problem π€·
