I listened to the First Ministers conference led by Pierre Trudeau every day for over three weeks. It was poured from a crucible and the words have deep meaning. Bora Laskin (Chief Justice) wrote an 8 volume commentary on it. It's not perfect but it's what we have.

Tomorrow I'm going to take a bus to the large town close to me so I can get election ballots (me +2) to a courier so they'll make it to Ottawa on time. It's 90 minutes each way. I have a good coffee thermal cup and a million books on my iPad. I'm good. This election counts. My vote will count.
